Mainland Greece rates apply. Some islands have reduced rates. For which rate applies to a product or service, consult an accountant.
How VAT is calculated
To add VAT to a net amount, multiply by (1 + rate). For example, at 24% the net amount is multiplied by 1.24.
To remove VAT from a gross amount, divide by (1 + rate). At 24% the gross amount is divided by 1.24. The VAT is the difference between the two amounts.
The calculator rounds to two decimals, as on invoices.
